Travel Hack
One of my favorite travel hacks is taking advantage of travel rewards for spending money. You can often reel in big sign-up bonuses by following the required spending requirements within the first few months. Of course, whenever you're using a credit card, you've got to be disciplined and pay off your credit card each month to avoid interest fees! And, beware of annual fees--sometimes you can get a free year for your first year, sometimes you can get the value back through other benefits, sometimes you just have to suck it up and pay them, sometimes you can cancel your card before you are charged for the annual fee, sometimes they kindly waive the annual fee if you ask nicely and you keep using the card. Regardless, it's worthwhile researching credit card bonuses to see what's a good fit for you. Here are a few of my faves, who also offer me a bonus when you sign-up. Bonus! Win win!
