The Travel Blogger Summit on Study Abroad & Global Citizenship
September 21-23, 2017
During the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, Hostelling International USA (HI USA) and Partners of the Americas hosted a reunion of the prestigious participants who attended the first ever White House Travel Bloggers Summit on Study Abroad and Global Citizenship in December 2014. The 2017 Summit reconvened 100 of the top celebrities, journalists, bloggers and digital media influencers in travel and was designed to stay true to the community’s original mandate: Go forth and engage young people about the transformative power of travel and study abroad. This large scale, prestigious event also acts as a fundraiser for the co hosts’ distinct scholarship and grants programs that enable more young people to embark on a transformative experience abroad.
